With Intel’s latest 5th generation Core i processors, Digital Age Solution’s Mara Next PC’s offer the fastest and smallest computers. Built on Intel’s Next Unit Computing design, Digital Age Solution builds these computers on-demand at its shop in Frederick, Maryland.

The latest processors provide a lot of speed. They are literally gaming computers you can carry in your pocket.

You can choose from a 5th generation Core i5 or Core i3 processor. Standard units come with 8GB of DDR3 memory, but can be upgraded to 16GB of memory. Standard systems feature a 250GB solid state drive for storage.

Mini-HDMI and Mini DisplayPort provide high definition graphics and 7.1 surround audio. Each system offers 4 USB 3.0 ports. A headphone/microphone jack is available on the front of the unit.

Network connectivity is robust on the systems. A gigabit ethernet port provides wired connectivity. Wireless-AC, Bluetooth 4, and Intel Wireless Display come standard.

Each computer measures approximately 4.5″ x 4.3″ x 1.3″. They can be mounted on any VESA mountable monitor with included hardware.

A huge congratulations to Digital Age Solution Software Engineer, Tymon Hevner and his wife, Kara. On Saturday, they welcomed their first child into the world. Ms. Evryn Mae Hevner was born at 4:11 p.m., weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. and measuring 21 3/4 inches long.

Today, Microsoft moves Windows 7 out of Mainstream Support and into Extended Support. This final stage of support for a Microsoft Operating System means Microsoft will not accept design-change requests or provide new features that are raised by developers.

User will continue getting updates to secure the operating system and fix any bugs, but that’s about it. The operating system powers over fifty percent of the computers in use today, but Windows 10 looms right around the corner.

Windows 7 will remain in Extended Support for the next five years. Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 (which was a free update to Windows 8) will be able to upgrade easily to Windows 10. In fact, reports still circulate that Windows 8.1 users will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free.  Windows 7 users will have to pay an upgrade price.

Digital Age Solution provides a demonstration unit of Windows 10 in its new store front at the Patrick Shopping Center, 467 West Patrick Street in Frederick, Maryland. You can experience the new operating system on a touch screen system built at DAS.

Digital Age Solution also offers a variety of computers built right in their shop for users. You can order your computer with Windows 7, while supplies last, or Windows 8.1.

Digital Age Solution came to life ten years ago.  After ten years of designing web sites and helping folks on the site, Digital Age Solution would become a full-service I.T. Department for everyone.

At first, we operated without a physical location.  We quickly found that some folks wanted to bring their computers to us. So, we opened a tiny one-room office across the street from my house. After a few months, we rented the rest of the building’s first floor. We continued to grow and moved to accomodate that growth.

Today, we’ve moved once more to a space twice as big as our home for the past four years. We’re right across the street at the Patrick Shopping Center, 467 West Patrick Street, in Suite 8B.
