ALERT: Stop Using Internet Explorer

Internet ExplorerBased upon information provided by Microsoft and the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team, Digital Age Solution, LLC recommends all of our customers stop using Internet Explorer until Microsoft issues a patch.  At the very least, disable the Flash plug-in within Internet Explorer. Hackers have immediately begun to exploit a vulnerability in Internet Explorer that can hijack your systems.  This vulnerability is present in all versions of the browser.

As Microsoft stopped issuing patches for Windows XP earlier this month, we recommend that anyone using Windows XP switch to another browser immediately and permanently.

Our technicians highly recommend Google Chrome as a web browser.  It is fast and flexible.

Be aware that all browsers have vulnerabilities and can be hijacked.  Use caution when opening any attachments or links.  Be sure you have the latest security updates and Internet Security software.

As always, we are available to support you through this.  Our technicians can remote into your system, visit your location, or work on your system at our tech bench in the store.
